Speyside Way Ultra Race, Saturday 14th November 2020
The Route
The route will follow the Speyside Way from Cragganmore Distillery, Ballindalloch to the town centre in Buckie. To accomplish the full distance, a deviation of approximately 5km commences on the descent from the forest track off Ben Aigen, to the east of Boat O' Brig. The track from Bridgeton Farm is taken to the right, onto the B9103, past the Distillery, and then next left onto a road through the Moss of Cairnty. The Speyside Way is resumed on the Ordiequish road.
Craigellachie - Fochabers
13 miles, moderate grade
Some longer road sections, woodland paths, forestry tracks
Fochabers - Spey Bay
6 miles, easy grade
Riverside and forestry tracks, grassy paths
Spey Bay - Buckie
5 miles, easy grade
Shore line path, some pavement, old railway line, woodland paths
The route continues into Buckie town centre for approximately 0.5 miles




The race will exhaust you, but at least the view is nice!
